Watched the latest in the potter movies the other day....Great movie!  The tone is getting a bit more mature as the story goes. The first book was "cute and a bit cuddly" in nature. But as Harry gets older the tone gets more dark and sinister. Not for little kids anymore! Im a big potter fan though. When my little girl gets a bit more mature, she can read the later books...lol.....Any how whats so humerous about the whole series is how many (bible) thumpers are freaking out about it..."I'ts the gateway to SATAN! , your being desensitised to evil and witchcraft, it's promoting demons,,,ect and the list goes on.......Now i'm not the very churchy type, but I am religious, and a bit spiritual, and I havent sacrificed anything yet because of the books, other than the money to buy them lol...In fact , I wasn't even going to read the books until so many people griped about them. I had to see what all the ruckus was about.  Well.....I liked the books they were a great read!  I HAVE THE LAST ONE ORDERED...YEEHAAAA...I think those wackkos out there are having control issues, they wan't you to think what they want you to think.  You know kinda like most of the organized faiths. They don't want you thinking for yourself, they want all the money you will cough up....aka tilton , swaggert, roberts, and a host of others. There is even a website devoted to warning you about how to stay away from potter, sponsored by some pastor!  Now that Rowling is stinking rotten rich, (you go girl) and no longer destitute, Im just waiting for the lunitic fringe to start suing.......I fell off of a four story building, because I thought you could fly with a broom, and broke my back gimmie money, or better yet, have PETA get involved and sue on behalf of large snakes for giving them a bad reputation...lol...or have Real witches sue because they don't like being potrayed as they are in the movie.......Just read or don't read the books, and you be the judge for yourself.....and ignore the fuss.....riff 

Had an intresting experience in the E.R. a while back...An elderly spanish speaking lady presented, with a multitude of complaints, chest pain, a little bit of weakness, some visual changes....bad diabetic...ect.....Now regardless of their status, we treat all people with dignity and respect. This poor little lady was really sick, needed to be admitted.....no prob...heal the sick I say.  The problem this time was due to the language barrier.. The only person available to translate at that time was her teenage grandson....with his little gang tats, and baggy pants hanging off his ass, and bandana nearly blocking his vision, actually had the nerve to bitch to us, "You people need to learn spanish here, I ain't got time for this shit"  The nerve of this punk! His grandmother was very ill, unemployed, and you geussed it a non-legal resident, getting care she would never pay for, and all this ass could do was bitch. Even though as health care providers we usually try to be over accomodating, and non judgemental, to keep every one happy, I couldn't stop myself from telling this ass hat to "check the map"...Later a nuse aid came on duty that was bilingual and we "dismissed" our little "humanitarian"......End of story, grandmother got better, and was very greatfull, (she brought us a pile of homemade tortillas a few days later..yum yum) and she was a very sweet person overall. What gets me, is how can someone (the peice of poop granson)  be so eager to bite the hand that feeds him? I bet if he actually had to pay for his care, and work to earn it_vs_selling crack or whatever gangbangers do for a living, he would not be so eager to gripe!....riff
