The world according to Riff

As the race heats up, and hitlery seems to be getting handed her ass, its coming down to Mcstain, and Obomanation...(im an equal oppurtunity offender ..lol) and all I hear is who is going to get Colin Powel to be the veep, Oboma or Mccain,..and even hear a little about trying to get Condi in the fray.  I think that the best qualified should be chosen, not just because they are of a certain color....(I would just be tickled pink if Condi jumped in...always liked the job she has done....and especially since the haters Jessie J, and his ilk called her an uncle tomasina, or house nigger...wish I could remember who actually said it....damn!!)  This is an exiting time, thinking back to the documented turmoil of the civil rights era, and the bitter unrelenting cries of "you owe us!!" when refering to the days of slavery, and the long standing multi-generational hate that engendered.  As a country we have progressed.  To even accept the possibility of a non-white president, is a sign of a changing mentality across the country.  BUT......the bitter people out there are already mourning "president Obama".as if he is dead already...."He is not going to be protected"..and comparisons to MLK, and his untimely end, Im already sick of it...ive already heard from some idiots on the radio..."The KKK is arming up down in the south already"...Im sorry, but "we-uns down south heah, is an educaaaated genteel peoples, we actually have running wata, and bathe on a regular basis, and dont all sit around with handlebar mustaches and drink mint julips, and wear Boss hogg leisure suits, waving a stogie talking bout the good ole days when the "blackies" knew thier place.....If you want that crap, go to hollywood and reveiw the film archives, and watch old versions of what they think its like in the south, have your fill.  In reality, at least in Texas, we see that and go "HUH?" "is ya crazy?" Back to the color thing, I could care less what color or gender the canidates are, as long as they can transcend the bull, and do a good job. But mark my words, as long as there is a "non-white" canidate or elect, the race baiters and race card holders will continue to do what they do.  If a bill gets killed in the house.."its because a black man came up with it" or if he don't get the election, "its cause he is black"....so no matter what he does win or lose, it will be blamed on ethniticty.....regardless of what is real .....timw to watch and see....riff
