@ 08:13 AM (5 months, 17 days ago)

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - An eighth-grade honors student who was suspended for a day, barred from attending an honors dinner and stripped of his title as class vice president after he was caught with contraband candy in school will get his student council post back, school officials said.

Superintendent Reginald Mayo said in a statement late Wednesday that he and principal Eleanor Turner met with student Michael Sheridan's parents and that Turner decided to clear the boy's record and restore him to his post.

Michael was disciplined after he was caught buying a bag of Skittles from a classmate. The classmate's suspension also will be expunged, school officials said........(Well well well.......seems like the sholastic bullies are we southeners call crawdadding from the fire...(crafish go backwards rapidly away from perceived danger or harm)....Serves them idjits right....all the negative press they must have received plus I bet a bunch of board members were just a weeeeee bit embarrased over the whole thing, and told the fools to "fix it...."or else"....and they didnt like the way they said "or else" so they proceeded to carry out the instructions...(I always liked the song ten little bottles...lol)....lol...riff

  1. Some of the stuff that goes on is so ridiculous. Got kids? Got the bucks for private schools or can home-school? No. You're screwed.
