The world according to Riff

Well. all over the news the Phoenix has landed.....The polar region of Mars is going to be poked and prodded.  Will it reveal life?  Will it be bacterial, or something new. (The pheonix will only check for the presence organic compounds....at least thats what they tell us...lol)..How long will it be untill some chance shadow, or odd rock gets displayed as an artifact of another culture than ours....will Nasa cover it up?.....Now here on earth, we have found life in caves, filled with deadly gases, and high temperatures, in geysers, even a mile deep in the ocean floor, and on submerged volcanic vents.  The presence of telltale octagonal cracks in the surface up there, pretty much conclude the fact that at one time water was in a liquid state up there. Taking this into account, is it so farfetched that there is something growing there?  Now the hard core faith people will have a coniption fit if something does turn up organic and alive, and it would tickle me pink if "artifacts" from a different civilisation were found....Let the fun begin, and the theories fly....yehaaa....riff
