Canadian Border to Check iPods for Copyright Infringment

canada.com — The federal government is secretly negotiating an agreement to revamp international copyright laws which could make the information on Canadian iPods, laptop computers or other personal electronic devices illegal and greatly increase the difficulty of travelling with such devices.

"Duh..is that illegal down loads on you I-pod sir, oh....we are gonna have to take that thank you.......Hey captain call ebay we got another I-pod for sell....lol...."

 

Officials at Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center in Cebu City, Philippines, apologized in April on behalf of at least six doctors and other personnel for laughing raucously during surgery and making a party video (that was later uploaded to YouTube) of the operating-room removal of a perfume canister from the anus of a male patient.   1. Good find on the Canadian thing. It's mind-numbing. I understand how there should be some protection for copyrights but to think that they can scan thru your electronic devices at the borders?
