In the news this AM, they want to allow Texans to be able to slap the ole shootin iron in plain sight on the hip.....I say go for it.....IF you go through the proper training and liscensure, and background checks, and still pass....damn right....I dont have the stats at this time but the ratio of gun crimes or accidents committed by liscensed gun holders was waaaaay lower than the unliscensed thug, or punk...so the whole "blood in the streets " arguement dont hold water for me....If I was a robbing thug punk ganger, and I seen a bunch of good ole boys and girls -packing heat in plain site and access I dont think I would go try and rob them....Because thugs are mostly lazy cowards anyhow.....and besides the more that try it and get their ass ventilated LEGALY by a citizen defending himself the less problems there would be.....and armed society is a polite society......riff
