President Bush initiated an economic stimulis bill, to stimulate the economy into getting out of it's present slump.  (more of a bandaid over a leaking dam in my opinion but hey....it will buy me some beer....lol) The Dems of course opposed it..."How DARE he give money back to the people who earned it....he is only helping the rich, or ...he isn't helping those of little to no income.....(Of course those of little to no income, don't pay a damn dime in anyhow so how is it that they deserve any back.....but tell this to a liberal and they have a aneuryism).......But on to the story....The latest spin is ......yep you geussed it....Bush is just supporting big oil with the money, he gave back to the people. With high gas prices, the way that they are. people are taking that money and "
JUST BUYING GAS WITH IT!!!!"...He might as well have just gave big oil the money and cut out the middleman.......

I don't know about you folks, but I am just sick of the spin war they are playing.  Only in the mind of a socialist liberal democrat, does giving YOU the PEOPLE YOUR money back, to do with it what YOU want, equate supporting big oil....When I get mine in I am going to buy 500ft of coax cable, in order to re-do the antenna system in my ham shack.....but wait!....lets spin it.....lets see.......Coax cable is made from copper, maybe aluminum as part of the sheild or tinned copper, there is a dielectric componet seperating the sheild from the center conductor, then there is the outer jacket.  The dielectric and jacket are made from polymers...well polymers are derived from hmmmmm...petro-chemicals ....AHAAAAA!!....I am supporting big oil....just like bush.....copper comes mainly from Chile and they use some of that money to help import.........you geussed it.......OIL!!!!.  Chile currently imports 98% of its crude oil. Damn I might as well just hand all my money directly to Halliburton, and Exxon, and cut out the middle man.......How was that for spin?....By being involved in amateur radio, a hobby that has helped countless disasters with much needed communications when the phones and the lines are down, the hobby that has even helped develop the groundwork for all of modern tele-communications today, including spread spectrum broadcast, radio-teletype, micro-wave equipment..and the list goes on and on,....is just a big Bush and oil sponsor.....in the sick twisted mind of a sick liberal socialist democrat.........riff
