HOT PEPPER FESTIVAL
Went to a hot pepper thingy this weekend in Fredricksburg Tx., it was on a place called Wildseed farms.....Beutifull place, if ya like the Garden stuff, there were more types of hot peppers than you could shake a stick at......evry thing from bell to YOWCH in heat....and more damn salsa's and picante's also....one of them was called TEXAS SPANK, and it was aptly named...the ole pie hole was a burnin for bout 10 minutes.....YUUUUUUUUUMIE, they even had some other stuff like heat and eat chile....and it was not that wolf brand or hormel crap either!..This stuff tasted like real chili, as if you would have made it from scratch yourself...My favorite was Cin Chili....some lady named cindy makes it and sells it, there was another but I can't remember the name. There was also a butterfly exhibit, and more damn varieties of native Texas wild flowers that were seeded and cultivated, than you could imagine....so next year I,m going again but we are gonna get a room nearby, and stay a day or two....(beer and dancing in addition to the other stuff....yeeeeeeeeeeeehawwwwww...)....widseedfarms has a web site also.....for all those out there that are "Hotheads", and luv the heat, that was a fun place indeed.....one I really liked was a mango, jalapeno dipping sauce....may not sound good to some but I tried it on some BBQ chicken, and DAMN!!!......later Yall....riff
