There is a proposed new idea to tax the poor working man, that has been proposed, as a pilot program........Due to lower amounts taxes being collected in Texas, on gas, they want to stick it to you in a different "hole"

When gas prices skyrocketed, Uncle Sam and others were making  A "MINT" on taxes. The whole time they are screaming "reduce usage...go green...go all electric...global warming...ahhhhhhhh....ect."...Well some of it worked.  The country has reduced it's gas and deisel usage, and the cars and trucks are becoming more feul effecient enough to reduce the amount of tax revenue, the greedy bastards were taking in........So how are they going to "fix" the problem?.......They want to start a "mileage tax" *wink wink*....This entails installing a GPS in the vehicle, and data logging actual mileage, and just to evaluate the potential income you get a fake bill in the mail, simulating how much you would have to pay in....fine and dandy if you don't live in a small town or have to commute any further that bike riding distance.....and think about the poor truckers....I drive 36 miles one way to get to work, and quite frankly, the school system in my town is waaaay too good to move my daughter out of.......Lets carry this a little further shall we.........If "they" are tracking your every move by GPS and decide that you are moving faster than the posted speed limit, whats stopping them from giving you a speeding ticket......no trooper or police in sight but you get a ticket in the mail....So if you are in an area that is asking for people to volunteer for this "study".....say no, and quote the 4th amendment at them...I think thats the one about the unlawfull search and seizure or something like that......riff
