recently bought 12 magnets that were 1 inch by 1/2 inch in diameter...and these puppies were strong...got a blood blister on my finger from two of them coming together....The goal I am after is to develop a power generation system to power the "ham shack", in case I lose main power......and these small magnets are just a part of the learning curve...I plan to build an axial flux generator, of at least 1kw or maybe 2kw, in order to power a good linear amp and a few computers, and my TS-2000, in order to do PSK and a few other modes......if I lost you on some of that....that's OK .....I happen to be a general class Amateur Radio operator, and "we" often use lingo specific to the hobby that a lot o people don't usually use......Any how I am working on a alternator capable of generating power from thing wind that can meet my needs. I plan to start off small and perfect the variable issues  that are inherent to this type of construction.....wish me luck...and i will keep you posteed
