(Newser) – Saying Cuba’s finances “don’t square up,” President Raul Castro called for belt-tightening measures in the wake of three hurricanes and a global recession that have hobbled the communist nation. The state plans to dole out fewer worker subsidies, halve the number of overseas trips, and halt costly programs that reward workers with free vacations. Cuba’s GDP experienced a slower-than-expected growth rate of 4.3% this year.

(Well how bout that....government running the show, free stuff promised to everybody, subsidies to failing programs or excessive programs, major recession in the air, too much government crappy economy , "doing the thinking for you"..(aka communism)....gee don't that sound familiar?.Even those cuban monsters see that the socialist crap doesn't work...and yet we git the liberals here running amok........Sounds like a lot of things here, 5th generation welfare families, illegal aliens getting free education medical and food stamps, lazy people claiming a "disability" and sucking up SSI, they didn't pay into, no incentive to educate yourself and get off welfare, and every incentive to lay on your back and squirt out more kids to help perpetuate the cycle .....and yet who do they blame?...Ill give you a hint, it aint the democraps.....lol...riff)
