A little off the regular BS, a little green power stuff
I am currently working on a small generator, as a test run on building a bigger one...one word of warning.....When handling neodymium magnets, don't be fooled by the "small" size...the ones i'm playing with are 1 inch x1/2 inch disk, each with an approximate pull weight of 48 pounds each!....I inadvertantly got the skin on my thumb caught between two of them, and now have a "nice" blood blister to drain....ouch.
I still have no idea how much power this thing will produce, until I set the disk up in fiberglass resin and put the rotors together, and start winding coils......but we will see, oh and by the way keep those damn magnets the hell away from any CRT monitors, makes for a really shitty burn mark in the screen.......don't ask.....loll....riff
