Caroline Kennedy...needs to uh um you know lay off uncles hooch
(Newser) – Caroline Kennedy needs to, you know, work on her speaking skills if she is to have a future in politics, experts tell the New York Daily News. In a recent half-hour interview with the News, Kennedy said "you know" over 200 times. Other interviews also contained scores of "you knows" and a liberal sprinkling of "ums."
Voice coaches say the verbal tics don't necessarily indicate nervousness. "She's just inexperienced," one said. "It's a habit, the way young people all say 'like' every other word." Speech experts say the Senate hopeful would likely benefit from some voice coaching—and from listening to tapes of her famously eloquent pop.(I like um uh ...uh well. uh you know uh did a lot of uh maui wowie in the ummm 60's and ummmm...70's...and uh um hmmm....a few hits of acid and some uhhh ummm shrooms.....and uhhhh.....(ok enough) he he he...I think she not only was a child of the 70's by her own account when asked about drug use, BUT....I bet she hangs with ole teddy boy on the scotch...SOMEBODY has a worse speech issue that they teased Bushy boy about in the first part of his terms...or maybe it's a "tuuumah"....rofl...riff)» Leave a comment
