Lowery.....hmmmf

Well so much for unity and an end to white guilt.....seems like we wont be able to put the transgressions of the past, in the past.  In a show of true Jessie Jascksonism, or in Farrakhanish style, a segment of the society is still being singled out and maligned.  The so called "prayer" pretty much infers it all........

"Lord, in the memory of all the saints who from their labors rest, and in the joy of a new beginning, we ask you to help us work for that day when black will not be asked to get in back, when brown can stick around, when yellow will be mellow, when the red man can get ahead, man; and when white will embrace what is right. That all those who do justice and love mercy say Amen. Say Amen"

segration ended how long ago????...Well I thought with the election, it would show..."Hey were all one big happy family"......suprise....instead of unification, we get "when white will embrace what is right"....I thought we did that already...but gee I must be wrong......I see the race card is still a hot commodity...at least the prayer started out OK all the way to "beginning " word.....and then it was gone.....riff

  1. It is kind of ridiculous that the old geezer couldn't remember all the changes he has witnessed in his lifetime. Dementia?
