Just call me....... Lieutenant Riff.....lol......(thought I was going to be Captain, but hey 1st Louie aint bad)...I am now officially in the Texas State Guard, in the Medical Rangers Division...According to pops, I am the first Commissioned Officer in the family since before WWII(well at least commissioned by the Governor, instead of the Prez)....and hears the funny part.....They were are the other side..LOL...das is nicht goot ya!!..He told me they were all shot at one point or another...Apparently the life span of German Officers was a bit brief then.....yikes...So rest assured that I swore an oath to be faithful to the constitution and not an oath to the Prez. personally ...sorry no oath of fealty or potential serfdom on my end....Any how my job will be "Texans helping Texans", in the case of a disaster.Such as hurricane Ike , and that clusterfu** Katrina.  Hey did "yall" notice the lack of survivors shooting at the rescuers when Galveston got wiped? The lack of a large number of people still sucking off the FEMA teat, most of them are back in their homes, or rebuilding  or have moved elsewhere and re-started.....without whining.....Louisiana Katrina survivors, on the other hand..........But any how, we may be called to help them idgits in the case of another attempt by mother nature to flush the toilet and clear out the floaters..( there was a lot of slums got destroyed) ....I will just bring a Kevlar vest and helmet...lol...riff
